Do As I'm Doing

I cannot get enough of Tyler singing. He does it all the time, I just need to be better about catching on the camera. Brady loves watching Tyler and was getting into the song this time! He really does "do" what Tyler is all day long. I just adore my boys so much! I love watching them play together. I am so blessed!

Colorado Trip

Jared was going out of town for 12 days, so I took advantage of it and went to Denver. Flying with the boys by myself was an adventure, to say the least. They did well for the most part. The last leg of the last flight was a little rough and it ended with them both asleep as we were landing - they were both awake the first seven hours of the trip, but decided the last twenty minutes was the best time to sleep.

It was a lot of fun to be there for Halloween. We visited my nephew's school parties. Tyler especially loved being in the Kindergarten class. He also got to go trick-or-treating with all of his cousins. He got tons of candy, the really good stuff. My parents have great neighbors.

Tyler also really loved playing in the leaves. The leaves here in Florida don't really dry out like they do back West. They are much easier to rake out there. Overall it was a great time and we can't wait to go back for Christmas!

F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E

We took the boys to their first FSU football game. Our seats were amazing. Tyler took a while to get used to all of the screaming, but eventually even he was cheering. Brady slept through a good portion of the game, but loved all the people around us while he was awake. The weather was perfect. Have we mentioned how much we love Florida?!?!

Our Backyard

Fall is Florida is wonderful. We really love our new house, especially the back yard. We found a cheap swingset on craigslist, so many hours are spent outdoors!

Catch Up Time!

So it has been a long while since I last posted. We moved and I just now found my cord to transfer pictures. We had a very fun and busy summer. We moved to a new home and we love it. We had a few visitors (Pona and Heidi Sitake and Jared's mom), and we spent a lot of time with Jared before a new semester. Summer was great, we just had to deal with insanely hot weather. Now we are back in the swing of things and life is great; busy, but great! Keep scrolling down through the next couple of posts to see pictures of our boys and our life!

Cakes

Well I have been very busy making cakes and teaching cake decorating classes. I have a lot of fun with it though. Here is a recent baby shower cake.

What a Cutie!

Brady is getting so big. He is crawling everywhere and getting into everything. He pulls himself up and walks along furniture. He has eight teeth. And he is such a sweetheart. He always smiles and loves to explore the house. Oh, and he loves food!

Tyler will be Tyler

Here are some cute images and video of Tyler. Man I love this kid!

5th Anniversary

While Jared's mom was here, we went on a day long date to celebrate our 5th anniversary. We drove a couple of hours to this amazing spring. First we tubed down the river that flowed from the spring, then we swam in this beautiful clear water. It was cold, but so clear. Some spots were over 40 feet deep. We had our snorkel gear and we were able to dive down a bit toward the opening of the spring.

Beach Time

The beaches this summer were great. We went to Panama City with Pona and Heidi. Tyler could hardly wait to get out of the motel room with all of his beach gear. Brady loved snoozing on the beach.

I Don't Want to Grow Up!

Tyler couldn't handle letting Brady have all of the fun jumping. Apparently he is not ready to grow up quite yet.

Time Flies!

I feel like just yesterday Brady was born, and all of the sudden he is 6 months old. We took Tyler and Brady to get pictures and they turned out really cute. They are certainly starting to look alike, and they really love being together!

Tyler has really been into singing lately, and now he has added playing the piano at the same time. I can't figure out how to rotate my video clip, so just tilt you head.

Life's a Beach

We went to Destin, FL, a beautiful beach town two hours from us. Tyler loved playing in the shallow waves. Every time Jared took Brady into the water, the motion from the waves put him to sleep. Brady also discovered sand, and we discovered a new way to help him sit!

$1 worth of fun!

The other night we went to return some dvds we had rented. On the way home we stopped and got $1 sundaes from McDonalds. Needless to say, Tyler loved his!

Memorial Day Canoeing!

Every year since we have been married, we have gone canoeing. This year going with two kids was a little more difficult, but we still had a great time. I was a little apprehensive since the river we went on is full of alligators, but everyone remained in the boat and all limbs are in tact!

Build-A-Bear

Tyler's Nana and Papa took him to Build-A-Bear. He had so much fun making his "Basketball Bear"!

More Colorado Trip

We had such a good time in Colorado visiting with family and friends. Jared especially loved going snowboarding.

Chuck E. Cheese

Between Jared's semesters we took a trip to Colorado. We met the our friends, Jason and Amanda Espersen at Chuck E. Cheese. Tyler and Autumn were back to their same old ways, sneaking in a kiss or two!

Tyler loves Brady!

Tyler loves Brady and being his big brother. He especially loves giving Brady zerberts.

My First Wedding Cake

I made my first official wedding cake and it was a big hit with the wedding party. The roses are made out of fondant and they took a couple of hours to make, but I had a great time creating this cake.
